Standard wedding bookings are charged as a flat package rather than hourly — couples don't want to be watching a clock on their wedding day. The package covers:

What affects the price
Three things can push the price above the £199:
Travel beyond 30 miles of Witham — £1.50 per mile after that
Longer than 6 hours on site — additional hours at standard hourly rate
Specialist requests — drone-led first dance exit, fireworks coverage, multi-day events

Wedding drone vs traditional photographer — do you need both?
Yes, and they don't overlap. A wedding photographer captures faces, emotions, detail shots and the intimate ground-level story. A drone captures scale — the venue, the landscape, the wedding party from above, shots no ground camera can take. Most couples we work with book both, and we coordinate timing with your photographer so flights don't clash with key moments.
CAA rules for wedding venues
Drones can legally fly at most Essex wedding venues with:
Venue permission — always ask first. Some grade-I listed venues prohibit drones; most rural venues actively encourage them
Guest consent — we brief your master of ceremonies to announce flight times so any uneasy guests can step inside
Distance from people — we hold 50m+ separation from guests unless every individual has consented (A2 CofC rules)

How early should I book?
For peak summer Saturdays (June–September) we recommend booking 3–6 months ahead. Off-peak dates are usually available with 4–6 weeks' notice. Our booking system shows live availability.
What if it rains?
Drones can't fly in rain or winds above ~25mph. If conditions prevent flight on the day, we either capture during a dry window if one exists, or refund your deposit in full. Wedding weather risk is on us, not you.
Drone videography can be less steady in winds about 18mph.
Will the drone be noisy during the ceremony?
Modern drones are quiet at altitude. We typically hold position 40–60m up, where they sound like distant bees.
Can we have the raw footage?
Raw 4K files can be supplied on request for an additional fee — most couples are happy with the edited highlight reel and stills.
